SeaWorld Adventure Park is a family themepark located in Orlando, Florida. It covers 200 acres and offers animal encounters, shows, and rides for its visitors.
The main animal attraction in SeaWorld is Shamu the killer whale and other killer whales who perform in a show. Kids will love the opportunity to not only see but also pet and feed dolphins. You can see penguins and polar bears in natural-like chilling-cold habitats. Other animals include manatees, sea turtles, sharks, sealions, exotic birds, and much more.
SeaWorld has one roller coaster named Kraken, and an adventure ride "Journey to Atlantis" which is part water ride, part roller coaster. You can also get a simulated helicopter ride on your way to see Arctic animals.
Shows are one of the best part of visiting Sea World, as you can see the trained animals doing tricks with their trainers (Shamu show, dolphin show), or see an amusing comedy (Clyde and Seamore show), or a circus type show (currently Odysssea).
Besides all that, Sea World offers many other activities and smaller attractions. It is easy to spend a whole day exploring the park.
SeaWorld Orlando is open year-round from 9 a.m. on. For 2005, the admission fee is $59.75 + tax; $48.00 + tax for children ages 3-9; and kids two and under are free.
