SeaWorld in Orlando does not have many rides or coasters but is concentrating more on sea animals. But we do find Kraken, the tallest, fastest, longest and only floorless roller coaster in Orlando. It means your feet are just dangling in the air - no floor! The name Kraken comes from a legendary underwater sea monster. You will go as high as a 15-story building, as fast as 65 miles per hour, and see the world upside down seven times. Kraken is quite a thrill!
Journey to Atlantis is a water ride with various parts; a dark part, roller coaster, and some surprisingly high drops. It is more of an adventure ride than a traditional roller coaster - using special effects to bring you a thrilling experience. The highest drop in Journey to Atlantis ride is nearly 60 feet, almost straight down!
Wild Arctic is a simulator ride on a helicopter, for about 5 minutes, bringing you to the Base Station Wild Arctic (which can also reached by foot). You will get to do a little sightseeing, before the helicopter gets caught in a snowstorm. There is also a non-motion version of this ride where you just see the movie, without the stimulated motion. If you're pressed for time, consider this option, as the lines for the helicopter stimulators can be long - longest when the Shamu Adventure show is finishing.
After the helicopter ride you will enter the Wild Arctic Aquatic Habitat - to enjoy arctic animals like walruses and polar bears in chilling temperatures.
And then for small extra fees you can ride up a high tower, or climb a fake 'mountain', or take a boat ride on a lagoon - these are available all day long.
