What are the qualifications for an animal trainer at SeaWorld?
i'm still at school and when i have finshed school i want ot go to college but i want to work with whales well as a show trainer with them. i was wondering could you give me details on what qualifications i need and what i need to study at college to do able to do this job please. colud you also send me information about the actal job .

Answer: There aren't any exact qualifications as far as schooling, but animal trainers or show trainers often have a bachelor's degree in some animal or biology related science field, for example zoology, biology, chemistry, botany, or psychology.
To prepare for a science related college studies, it would be good to take biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics courses during high school.
Also it's helpful to start volunteer work, or or get an entry-level position, in some zoo, animal park, or even a clinic to get familiar with animal care.
